And "Tianmu" refers to Tianmu Mountain in Zhejiang. During the Tang Dynasty, Japanese monks came to China to study Buddhist scriptures and often went to Tianmu Mountain Buddhist temples. When they returned to China, they would bring some black glazed tea cups used in temples to give to relatives and friends, which the Japanese called "Tianmu cups". Later, "Tianmu" became a general term for Chinese black glazed porcelain.


The craftsmen of Jizhou Kiln inserted one or two leaves into the production of black glazed tea cups, known as the "Wooden Leaf Tianmu Cup". It was loved by the royal nobility and the common people, and became the most precious tea set at that time. Spread overseas and become even more valuable collectibles than gold; Fortunately, what exists domestically is a top-notch national treasure level cultural relic, worth a lot of money.


It should be written that the majority of mulberry leaves and Bodhi leaves are taken, and mulberry leaves, also known as silkworm leaves, are homophonic with "Zen" and have the meaning of participating in Zen, explaining the reason.


A fallen leaf, after being calcined by mud and fire, shines with a rebirth in the dark tea pot - "Wooden Leaf Tianmu Zhan", a representative porcelain of Jizhou Kiln. "Tianmu" refers to black glazed porcelain. Jizhou Kiln is famous for its black glaze and is one of the well preserved ancient kiln sites in China. It is also one of the production centers of ancient black glazed porcelain in China. During the Southern Song Dynasty, tea drinking culture was popular, and the black glazed porcelain produced by Jizhou Kiln was highly favored by literati and literati. More than a thousand years ago, the wooden leaf Tianmu pottery from Jizhou kiln had already been exported overseas through the Maritime Silk Road.


A perfectly crafted wooden leaf celestial eye cup that evokes endless imagination.
